Pricing / Rate Card for Content Buyers

2017 Rate Card

 

Notes:

The range of fees for each source depends on the nature of the content (what SyndiGate considers a premium source vs. a non-premium source); the volume and frequency (e.g. a daily newspaper vs. a monthly magazine); the format (e.g. video is generally priced higher than text); plus the volume of sources subscribed to.

Where a ‘one-time set-up fee’ is detailed within this rate card, this fee will vary depending on how the content buyer wishes to receive or access the content (e.g. FTP, RSS, searchable platform etc.), plus any customization required to the output formats (e.g. XML, NewsML etc.) or metadata (e.g. people names, places, industries etc.).

 

Revenue Sharing Model:

50% minimum + one-time set-up fee + minimum monthly guarantee

 

Fixed Licensing Fees (Media Clients):

From $500 p/month (full publication feed, or subject specific multi-publication feed) + one-time set-up fee + minimum monthly guarantee

From $750 p/month (full video feed, or subject specific multi-source video feed) + one-time set-up fee + minimum monthly guarantee

* The number of articles or videos that can be published per day from a single source is capped to five (5).

** The content can be re-published on the syndication partner’s website, mobile site, mobile app and social media channels.

 

CPM Model on Video and Article Views:

$1.00CPM on video views + one-time set-up fee + minimum monthly guarantee

$0.50CPM on article views + one-time set-up fee + minimum monthly guarantee

 

Pay Per Use Services:

Digital posting, up to 30 calendar days, on a publicly facing website: $225.00 per article/video

Digital posting, up to 180 calendar days, on a publicly facing website: $900.00 per article/video

Digital posting, 365 calendar days or more, on a publicly facing website: $1,650.00 per article/video 

Digital posting, up to 30 calendar days, on an intranet/extranet: $75.00 per article/video

Digital posting, up to 180 calendar days, on an intranet/extranet: $225.00 per article/video

Digital posting, 365 calendar days or more, on an intranet/extranet: $300.00 per article/video 

Print publishing, within a newspaper or magazine: $225.00 per article

Print Use Royalty: $1.00 per article, per print-out

Email Use Royalty: $1.00 per article, per recipient

Discounts & Surcharges on Pay Per Use Services:

Not-for-profit entities: 25% discount

Publisher, STM: 25% discount

Government agency: 50% surcharge

Pharmaceutical Company: 100% surcharge

Websites with over 1,000,000 unique visitors per month: 50% surcharge

Print publications with a per issue circulation  over 250,000: 50% surcharge

Video content: 50% surcharge

Translation Fees:

English to Arabic, or Arabic to English: $0.20 p/word

*The rate is applicable for non-technical, medical, legal or other specialised content.
